I’m a UI/UX designer with a background in web & graphic design.

I have always been fascinated by design. As a kid I used to make stickers and and sell them to my friends at school, before eventually graduating to selling shirts, sweaters, and hats. I took advanced art all through high school and upon graduating, started my own landscaping company where I was able to take my first shot at branding.

Another passion of mine is consumer behaviour. Throughout University I studied sociology and media with a focus in consumer behaviour. I love learning about various consumer habits and motives and the ways in which those behaviours can be influenced.

Upon graduating University I worked as a web designer at a software company. In my spare time I freelanced, designing websites, logos, signage, apparel, and more.

When I discovered the field of UX design I knew that I had found my calling. UX design allows me to bridge the gap between my love for design and my fascination with consumers.

Those I’ve Worked With

Working with Brendan was an absolute pleasure. He was a constant source of creative ideas and problem solving. Most importantly, he brought the team and company together in ways I hadn't seen before. His personality, willingness to be a team player, and collaboration with other departments was immeasurable in improving LifeLearn while he was here, and is felt after his departure. Any team would be lucky to have Brendan as an addition.

Brendan is pleasant, positive, and works extremely well with others. I would describe him as an enthusiastic individual who is always willing to take on new work and help others out while consistently meeting deadlines. Brendan is a creative designer who is always up for a challenge.

Samantha DaviesVP Operations, LifeLearn

As a student, Brendan was able to absorb and apply concepts taught in class, not hesitating to ask questions when something wasn't clear. I had the pleasure of seeing him problem solve both individually and in a team setting. His passion for design is evident in the work he produces, making him a fantastic addition to any team!
